Grow Your Own Never Looked this Good!

Gardening Talks and talking gardens

Samantha Ford is not only director of a thriving online seed business, but is also rapidly gaining a reputation as a very accomplished  speaker on a range of horticultural topics. Her gardening talks aim to  embrace the modern culture of gardening as a way to eat healthily and interact in a more sympathetic way with our environment.

Drawing on a wealth of experience working with horticultural businesses from across Europe and using her skills as a trained linguist, Samantha has compiled an impressive knowledge of the origins of many of our more familiar vegetable varieties, as well as others which are more unusual.

Samantha’s  research has also uncovered many forgotten elements of the folklore surrounding what we eat, which will throw a whole new light on your humble vegetable garden or allotment.

Many very experienced gardeners who thought they perhaps knew everything they needed to know about their subject have congratulated our ‘gardening Guru’ for providing them with renewed inspiration after one of her talks.

We can thank her years as an officer in the Royal Air Force for her ability to motivate and inspire people with her passion and vision for the subject of  ‘growing your own’. So if you would like to provide your gardening club, allotment association or organisation with a fresh insight into what to grow, how to grow it or what to do with it all once you’ve grown it, get in touch and let us know what you’d like to hear.

We are also able to arrange a variety of teaching days for schools, whether to help get your garden club started, or provide fresh ideas an inspiration to keep you motivated throughout the gardening season.
